Someday I will...

34
I want to tell you that I'm so much more than these petty poetic lines
But only if I get some time precious with you in person
I want to tell you that my mind is not thinking about every minute detail every time
Sometimes it watches your ears glow red
And sometimes your cheeks sink down in a melancholic way
But that would be contradicting, isn't it?
To say that I don't do details and stuff
And then instantly telling you how I notice you and your baggage so gruff?
Well, it isn't like that every day
Sometimes even your bright clothes seem dull to me
Because it's hard to not notice the curtain in your eye
Every time I wish to draw it aside
You wish to keep it tight
But I'll try
I'll try my best
Like you opened yourself to me
I will let you sense this world with open arms
Even though I'm not making any sense now
I'm sure that someday I will...
