'Aish aur aaraam toh papa ke paiso se hua karte the, apni salary se toh bas zarurate hi puri hoti hai'

College life is one of those phases in life where you come face to face with the 'realities' of the life.

  1. You come to know the importance of 'Public Transport' in your country.
Whether to take this bus or that? Should I wait for some time so that I find a less crowded one? And the most challenging - how do I usher myself in the bus if it's a crowded one? These decisions are needed to be taken so quickly that it makes your decision making ability to build up profusely.

    2.   You come to realise that if you would have learned this or that previously then you wouldn't be facing the difficulties at present. In my case, Maths!

    3.   'Aate Daal' Ka Bhaav Pata Chalta hai
My college canteen's food isn't that yummy but when hunger strikes start in my tummy, I get my favourite franky to dive in with full of mayonnaise. But, recently when my eyes darted through the price board, my mouth immediately made a big 'O'. Just because the frankie has some paneer (not even some- only 4-5 small pieces), how does that give you a reason to hike the price and that too drastically? At least be reasonable.
    4. You come to know 'How To Bargain?'
When your college canteen doesn't let you bargain, there's only one way to let out your pent up frustration - Bargain with the vegetable vendor. Recently, I had been observing my dad on how he uses his tactics to buy goods at his own price and I had lapped up all the phrases and gestures to use them in future.

Ruskin Bond says, Those who have made success with ease have had dull lives. And now when this thought has set in my mind, I'm enjoying my college uneasiness everyday.
