We Indians are known for everything. From our food to our dudes, from our culture to even our women-raping vultures. Yeah, we have outnumbered many by our crimes and our mimes too but what I think is we Indians or I should say the brothers and sisters of India,i.e. Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and Bangladesh possess something which only we can be congratulated for.
Here is my list of what we south-asians stand unique for amidst the crowd of the world:
1. The Baaraatiyo waala Dance
No matter what song the DJ plays in an Indian wedding, we'll surely find a way to move our waist and play the 'thumka' on role. Its inherited from our parents and then their parents and the generation goes on. When I saw my parents wedding dance, I laughed till my lungs were full and couldn't hold it enough. It was like looking an old funny movie of the 80s although the wedding happened in the 90s.
2. Ek ek tukde pe toot padna
Yesterday when I was having an awesome hangout with my friends, we were offered a plate full of tasty and delicious Hakka Noodles. Although we were eating from a single plate(excluding the host who is so selfish that she got herself another 'fully equipped with lots of noodles plate'), we enjoyed it heartily. Now when the time came for us to eat the last bite, the question was who'll be eating that. But as usual, we don't care for the formality and thus began the clash of spoons in the plate and hands pushing each other and stopping the other from eating the tiniest bit of noodle left.
3. The Social Networking waala 'Dhindhora'
Whether it is your li'l brother's birthday who doesn't even know what facebook is or be it the 'Goooooooooooooodmoooorrrrrnnning' waala post, we know how to irritate the hell out of anyone around. And while we like these posts, there's a mutual feeling of understanding that the same other person will like our post too. It's just a virtual way to express simple things on the social network and the fact that Facebooks network is way giant than a whole Indian family proves who all are the victim od these posts.
