The Perks of being a friend to a "Gujju"

34
Yeah, well twelfth grade has been full of enjoyment and excitement about boards but what I got is something so human that I believe to be another of my greatest achievements(Another, 'cause my other girlfriend is a miracle to me ;) ). And what happened to me was that I got a 'Gujju' friend.
And reality is that you cannot be fully amazed every time you go to their home. there's so much to be explored that you can't get enough of it. The things are short-listed here after my experience. ;)

   1. The Foooooooooooooood!
                  Yumm! Yumm! Yummm!
You can't get enough of it too. Even though most of the gujarati dishes contain some amount of sugar, they taste even more distinctly.
There's so much to crunch and chat and eat every time. Be it delicious 'dhokla' or the simple 'shikanji', or snacks like khandvi, muthia, patra(this one's awesome),  it's total fun when you go to their house and come back with satiated appetite. Yumm! Take the 'Dal-dhokli' on one side and 'Patraa' on the other. They're mouth-watering snacks of which, if you take only one bite then it would be called a sin.

   2. The Loudness!
When you get to their house, its like a movie going on in which the characters chatter with themselves in sweet gujarati and you're like- "What's going on?" But the thing is you get to know what actually is happening around you. You are like an audience waiting for the conclusion there. Wish I had popcorn at that time. It would have been fun. :/

   3. The Colors
The magnitude of colors in their house is indescribable. You go to their house and your pupils suddenly dilate and contract as you move your head from one place to another. It's such a lovely complementing atmosphere for a vibrant person that it's ultimate pleasure of a fun-fair.

 4. The Music Fest

Like every Indian music, gujarati music sets your foot on work and you cant stop yourself from playing garba. Be it wedding festival or just a simple family gathering, the tunes will surely make your legs and hands work in synchronization.

Well, that's all I experienced till now. Wait for more!
